Rocky Mountain Chocolate - Franchise
Our Spirit
Rocky Mountain Chocolate is dedicated to Elevating Chocolate Moments into unforgettable experiences. We strive to be Amerca’s confectioner of choice and the peak of Perfection in handcrafted chocolate. Founded in 1981, Rocky Mountain Chocolate is a publicly held corporation (symbol: RMCF) and has been franchising since 1982, paving the way for deliciously successful business ventures.
Craft True Connection
A very important ingredient in the store operations is the way products are merchandised and sold. A standard store will purchase approximately two thirds of its merchandise from our plant in Durango. The remaining items, like caramel apples, fudge, dipped fruit, and certain, approved non-chocolate candies or other merchandise are produced in store or purchased from authorized suppliers.
This captivating cooking presentation is hallmark to our business, attracting and entertaining our customers, creating a one-of-a-kind experience they want to share with others. The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Field Team will work closely with you and your staff during the initial training period and provide ongoing support to ensure a thorough understanding of this RMC fundamental.
Elevate the Everyday
At Rocky Mountain Chocolate we take exceptional pride in the production of our chocolates, and you can taste our passion for perfection in every bite. We select only the finest and freshest ingredients to craft more than 150 varieties of premium chocolates and confections. Nestled in the heart of the southern Rockies, in Durango, Colorado, our plant supplies our franchise stores with unique, “mountain-sized” treats like our renowned nut-and caramel Bears, Peanut Butter Buckets, and oversized toffee. We also offer an array of gourmet truffles, caramels, chocolate dipped treats, chocolate creams, and thoughtfully curated gift boxes. And in our stores, customers can delight firsthand as the magic unfolds- gourmet caramel apples, fudge, chocolate dipped strawberries, and more are all made right in-house. Rooted in tradition, our recipes have been perfected over generations of confectioners to deliver an experience that is second to none. In our kitchens, quality is the top priority, overseen by our highly trained teams, to ensure that every product in every store meets our rigorous standards. I grew up with the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory as the center of our dinner conversations. My father was one of the first franchisee owners and had a beautiful location in downtown Denver's Writer Square. Ten years later... married with children, working corporate jobs. An amazing location in the Denver Pavilions opened up and we jumped in! My father retired and we purchased his Writer’s Square store, 2 years later we bought our third store in Florida. Most days are exciting, challenging and good, we truly love this business.Marissa and Eric Williams
