Doug has started several small businesses himself, including an international buying service for European clothing retailers in 1995, which utilized custom internet software before browsers became widespread. He also founded a company that manufactured custom sales training kits for large consumer durable products. Last but not least, he also founded a dealer services company that provided profitable aftermarket products.
Doug holds an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University and an BA in Business from Michigan State University. In his spare time, Doug enjoys volunteering for various charity and nonprofit events as well as spending time with his wife and two children, running, cycling, restoring classic cars, and spending as much time in the beautiful outdoors as possible.
